35.9% of the 2,782,509 businesses in Leadity's Q3 2026 Google Maps data (1 July to 30 September 2026) show no website on their listing.
Across the 32 trades we report on, the median trade sits at 31.2%.
The share runs from 15.9% for real estate agents to 42.9% for car detailing services.
A Facebook or Yelp page does not count as a website in this count. These are listing shares: Leadity's no-website filter also checks social media accounts and other online sources and leaves out any business with a website posted anywhere, so a delivered list can be smaller. That cross-check is not measured here.

The data holds no UK or Australian business: both countries went on sale on 4 October 2026, after the window closed, so this report gives no figure for them.
Why can't the area code tell you a phone type?

How we count Google Maps business data Each dataset, its date and its limits.
Dataset: Leadity's Q3 2026 Google Maps data. Businesses found by Leadity customer scrapes of Google Maps from 1 July to 30 September 2026, test accounts excluded, each business counted once, read 20 October 2026.
The data holds 2,782,509 businesses in 245 trades, in the US and Canada. Its headline phone types are shares of listed phones; the trade table's shares are of all businesses in a trade, including those that list no phone.
The 32 trades in the table hold 2,241,697 businesses. A business found in two trades counts once in each trade, and every trade holds at least 3,000 businesses.
Owner names: Leadity's owner-name lookup confirmed an owner for 29.3% of 33,522 businesses checked between 15 and 30 September 2026. A name counts only when independent sources agree.
Emails: 62.5% of 5,926 business websites checked between 16 and 30 September 2026 publish an email address.
Number plan: 1,539,378 thousand-number blocks, loaded 20 September 2026 and read 22 September 2026.
A state or a country gets a figure only with at least 3,000 businesses, and an owner-name rate only with at least 500 businesses checked.
Limits of these figures
The figures describe what businesses publish on Google Maps, not who answers the phone.
Leadity's data counts the businesses its customers chose to scrape, by trade and area, so it is not a census of all businesses.
A ported number keeps its block, so the block count says what a number was assigned as, not where it sits today.
Aggregator pages such as Facebook or Yelp are not counted as a website.
No business is named and no phone number is shown. The figures are aggregate statistics about public listings.

You can use these Google Maps figures in your own work, as long as you quote them with a link back to this page. The CSV holds every figure with its dataset, window and read date. No business is named and no phone number is shown, because the figures are aggregate statistics about public listings.
How often is this Google Maps data updated?
Leadity updates this Google Maps data when it publishes a new count, and each figure keeps its window and read date: the business figures cover 1 July to 30 September 2026 and were read 20 October 2026, and the number plan was read 22 September 2026.
